Three candidates take part in radio show

This Friday, Barcelona presidential candidates Agustí Benedito [2nd from the left], Jaume Guixà [2nd from the right] and Alexis Plaza [3rd from the right] all three took part in a radio show on Catalan radio station COM Ràdio.

Catalan businessman Manel Arroyo [on the left], who will be part of the board team of Sandro Rosell, and Catalan doctor Miquel Llobet [on the right], who will be part of the candidacy of Santiago Salvat, were also present.

MotoGP businessman possible vice-president Rosell

Catalan sports paper El 9 Esportiu claims that Catalan businessman Manel Arroyo could become the economic vice-president of FC Barcelona if presidential candidate Sandro Rosell is elected in the upcoming elections.

Last month, it was said that former Barcelona director Xavier Faus was the main candidate of the Rosell candidacy to become economic vice-president (read more here).

Manel Arroyo is the 49-year old managing director of Dorna Sports, an international sports management and marketing company, that is among other things the exclusive holder of all commercial and television rights of the MotoGP World Championship since 1992.

Jordi Cardoner, probable member of the board team of Barcelona presidential candidate, has confirmed to Catalan local biweekly newspaper El 9 Nou that Catalan businessman Manel Arroyo is part of the candidacy.

Asked about the presence of Arroyo at a meeting of Rosell with presidents and vice-president of Barcelona fans clubs in Catalonia, Cardoner said: "If Sandro Rosell wins the elections and becomes the next president, Manel Arroyo will be part of the board."
